Jane Twelves receives the 2007 Glenfiddich Spirit of Scotland Award for Food from Andrew Fairlie, head chef at Gleneagles HotelSalar Smokehouse won the prestigious 2007 Glenfiddich Spirit of Scotland Award for Food. The glittering black tie award ceremony was held in the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum in Glasgow on 29 November, compere for the evening was Kirsty Wark and the Food Award was presented to Jane Twelves of Salar Smokehouse by Andrew Fairlie, head chef at Gleneagles Hotel.

The Glenfiddich Awards set out to recognise people who embody the spirit of Scottish success. They celebrate the best aspirations across Scottish life from culture and cuisine to business and sporting achievement.
